In 2012, it would be considered dead, just a few years after its creation. Charlie Puth now speaks out about his experiences at the label and how he was treated during his early years of his career.

Puth was a recent guest on the Rolling Stone Music NowPodcast, where he spoke candidly about his beginning in the music business and how DeGeneres played an important role in it. Puth opened up about the lack support for the now defunct label.

After the creation of my demo EP, nobody was there. After that, I didn’t hear anything from anyone. It’s not fair to single people, but a group, all those in that room, just disappeared.

After 19 years of being on the air, the comedian made it clear that she was ending her show in 2022. The accusations of DeGeneres’ behavior led to decreased ratings and the show went out with more of a whimper than a bang. Kelly Clarkson’s daytime show filled the longtime host’s time slot.

Charlie Puth, who was a rock star at eleveneleven has become a top-recording artist and has received four Grammy nominations. He is now signed to Artist Partner Group, instead of Ellen Degeneres. His fourth studio album titled Charlie!It was released October 7th. 5 hits singles preceded it.
