Camp Cretaceous teases Yaz & Sammy getting together season 5

Jurassic World’s heart is Camp Cretaceous. This is the group of six characters that we have become friends with since they were left on Isla Nublar.

The series has been dominated by the challenges of survival on a dinosaur-infested Island. However, it is also important to show the characters’ relationships.

That is certainly the case between Yaz and Sammy in season 5 as it’s hinted that there might be more to their friendship than first thought.

But what happens to Yaz, Sammy and Camp Cretaceous, and will they ever be together at the end of season 5?

Yaz shares her feelings for Sammy

Yaz and Sammy share a close friendship since Camp Cretaceous’ inception. The pair have supported each other through many difficult times on Isla Nublar, as well as their shared love for Camp Cretaceous.

After some cute and awkward exchanges, Yaz starts to see Sammy and her as more than just good friends.

Episode 7. Yaz is alone with Ben and reveals to him she has been feeling for Sammy, but isn’t sure how to proceed.

She believes it is best to push initially. ‘pause’ on her feelings until they’ve finally made it off the island but by episode 9, she has decided she can’t hold her feelings in anymore and confirms to Ben that she is going to tell Sammy how she feels – when the time is right.

Are Yaz and Sammy together?

Yes, Yaz is eventually reunited with Sammy in season 5 Camp Cretaceous.

Yaz confides to Ben that she plans to share her feelings with Sammy in episode 9 and spends the episode looking for the perfect moment.

But Yaz’s attempts to talk to Sammy are repeatedly interrupted, either by her friends arriving on the scene or by a hungry dinosaur attack.

At long last, in the final moments of episode 9, Yaz finally gets the chance to admit her feelings to Sammy and – to the relief of Yaz and Sammy shippers everywhere – Sammy confirms that she has felt the same way “since I don’t know when.”

Ben has been super cute in his efforts to give Yaz and Sammy some privacy to discuss their feelings but he can’t stop Brooklynn and Darius from seeing Yaz and Sammy share a kiss.

But he needn’t have worried as both Brooklynn and Darius cheer when they see the couple kissing and are highly supportive of the burgeoning relationship.

Camp Cretaceous makes a quick swoop to catch up to the timeline of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom at the end of Season 5. We find that Yaz, Sammy and the rest of the group are still together.

Yaz is now staying with Sammy and her family in Texas. She hopes to go to college near you.

Camp Cretaceous fan reacts to Yaz, Sammy

Camp Cretaceous season 5’s revelation that Yaz & Sammy have feelings for each other has become a big topic. Many fans took to social media and shared their thoughts.
