BTS announces four in-person concerts in Los Angeles

BTS have some major news for their fans on the West Coast.

The Korean pop group announced the BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – LA mini-tour on Monday, marking their return to Los Angeles to perform four shows at the Sofi Stadium on Nov. 27, Nov. 28, Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, according to a press release.

This is the first time BTS and their fans, also known as the BTS Army (or BTS Army), will meet in person since the end of the group’s 2019 global tour. The pandemic forced BTS to cancel their 2020 Map of the Soul tour.

The latest news also follows their recent announcement of a livestreaming concert“BTS Permission to Dance On Stage,” which will be held on Oct. 24.

BTS landed its fourth No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Permission to Dance."

BTS returns to the stage after a successful summer dominating the music charts.

The group led Billboard’s songs of summer chart with its second English-language single “Butter.”

The annual chart tracks the most popular songs from Memorial Day through Labor Day (this year’s charts tracked June 12 through Sept. 11) based on cumulative performance on the weekly streaming-, airplay- and sales-based Billboard Hot 100.

BTS’ “Butter” held firm at the No. Billboard announced September 7th that BTS’ remained at the No. 1 spot for the duration of the seasonal charts. That same day, BTS retook the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 chart, thanks to the fiery Megan Thee Stallion remix.

Besides a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, BTS also recently linked up with Coldplay on the glittering “My Universe.”

‘You know we don’t stop’: BTS tops Billboard charts (again), breaks world records with ‘Butter’

According to Live Nation, fans who purchased VIP tickets for BTS’ 2020 North American Map of the Soul tour will receive first access to presale tickets on Oct. 5. All other Map of the Soul Tour ticket purchasers will have presale access Oct. 6.

The general public will be able to purchase tickets on October 9. More ticket information can be found here.
