British MP Claims Female Doctor Was Linked to Men Committing Criminality

British politician claims that casting women in TV and film roles traditionally held by men is leaving boys looking up to criminals as role models.

Speaking during a Westminster debate marking International Men’s Day, Conservative Party MP Nick Fletcher linked “female replacements”Young men are now looking up to roles like Doctor Who or James Bond, post-Daniel Craig. Peaky BlindersTommy Shelby is the protagonist.

“Is there any wonder we are seeing so many young men committing crime?”He stated this in comments that seemed to confuse others who were involved in the debate.

“There seems to be a call from a tiny, but very vocal, minority that every male character or good role model must have a female replacement,”Fletcher did not stop. “In recent years we have seen Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Luke Skywalker, TheEqualiser, all replaced by women.”

Anneliese Dodds from Labour Party Chair, who also spoke during the debate, said that she thought the topic was “far more complex”Fletcher’s suggestion was not enough.

Fletcher can be seen making his claims in the video below.
