BoA’s new album Forgive Me proves why she is called the Queen of K-pop

The Queen of K-pop, BoA, is back with a new album Forgive Me and fans can’t get over the fierce concept of the new album perfected with stunning vocals and a no-skip tracklist!

Kwon Boah is a Korean singer who performs under the stage name BoA. She made her Kpop debut nearly two decades ago, 2000. Even then, the 36-year-old singer has remolded her artistry with every new comeback proving that BoA’s artistry remains timeless.

BoA is a South Korean cultural icon for her 22-year-long music career that has been filled with historical achievements.

Fans will be pleasantly surprised to hear that her new album, Forgive Me, is a different experience. The queen of Kpop has finally unleashed her inner warrior where her monologue-ish lyrics on the title track speak. “you are late to the game and it is a deadly one” Perhaps referring to K-Pop’s constantly changing trends and to those who hate her for trying to make them look bad.

BoA, however, is not afraid to withstand the waves of time. “I won’t say sorry, I don’t feel sorry. How about you just hate me and stop your ham-fisted moves.”

Right before the album’s release, BoA also talked about this fierce concept in a countdown live telling fans that she has never channeled her inner anger like this before.

The response to BoA’s angry goddess aura is cathartic as fans are embracing the K-pop queen’s new era.

BoA’s latest album Forgive Me has six tracks in total including Forgive Me, ZIP, Sketch, Breathe, After Midnight, and Hope.

BoA contributed lyrics to three of the best-selling six tracks – Sketch, Forgive Me and Hope.

All five Forgive Me B-sides debuted within hours after their release on the South Korean Bugs Music Chart.

Forgive Me comeback stage

BoA will be promoting Forgive Me on radio shows, as well as dropping Forgive me. Inkigayo will feature the performance of the new title track by Breathe on Sunday.

She will be also attending JTBC’s music talk show K-909 on Saturday at 4:40 pm KST/ 2.20 am ET on JTBC.
