The social media superstar recently shared a TikTok video with an alleged sibling. ‘Bella Poarch sister’ rumors immediately popped up after shocked fans discovered the ‘revelation’.
Filipina social media personality and singer Bella Poarch is a TikTok superstar with over 92.8m followers on the platform. She first rose to prominence after creating the most liked TikTok video ever in 2020, and has since gone on to release her debut single ‘Build a B****’ as well as her her first EP, Dolls,in 2022.
Bella Poarch’s celebrates ‘sister’s’ birthday in viral TikTok
On 26 September 2023, fans were shocked after discovering Bella Poarch‘s ‘sister’ on TikTok. Poarch uploaded a video of her and another girl dancing in a kitchen in front of a birthday cake.
The cake said: ‘Happy Birthday Amelia’ on it.
However, it was the social media star’s caption that sent TikTokers into overdrive. She wrote: ‘Happy birthday little sister.’
The comments were immediately flooded with fans reacting to the revelation that Bella Poarch had a ‘sister’.
‘U guys are sisters!!? U guys are so pretty’, one person wrote.
‘SISTER?’ a shocked fan commented.
‘I didn’t know that u guys are siblings-‘, a third added.
‘So you saying amelia is bella sister,’ a fourth adde.
However, many fans weighed in on the situation to reveal they aren’t actually related. ‘They’re not actually sisters it’s what girls call each other when they’re really close friends,’ one person replied.
Others also provided a bit more context around the term sister.
‘filipinos say “ate” pronounced as “ah-teh” which means sister to other girls,’ someone commented. Another added, ‘you can think of it as FILIPINO way Filipino call people even tho there not from the same blood sister or brother and also uncle dad, mom, aunt.’
Essentially ‘sister’ in this context is really just a term of endearment rather than a factual relation. It’s more like Bella Poarch sees Amelia like a little sister, which gives an indication as to how close they are.

It comes just a week after the singer released her new single, Crush, with Lauv.
