It seems 90 Day Fiancé star Natalie Mordovtseva still has a warm spot in her heart for Mike Youngquist. A teaser clip for 90 Day: The Single Life made this clear. It seems that when Russia’s war on Ukraine began, Mike helped Natalie’s mom to escape the terrors of war.

There are many heartwarming stories about courageous and caring people helping victims as the Russian attack continues on Ukraine. Natalie Mordovtseva is a beautiful Ukrainian woman who claims Mike Youngquist was the one who helped her mom escape the country. In fact, she stated in a teaser trailer that Mike Youngquist helped her mom escape from Ukraine. “He’s a hero.”
Now fans are wondering what this bit of news means for Natalie’s new relationship with Josh. After helping her mother flee Ukraine, it seems that Natalie plans to visit Mike.
Natalie opened up in a preview of Monday night’s episode where she speaks about her family’s safety during the ongoing war. TLC reality TV star Natalie now lives in Florida. However, she revealed that Mike paid for her mom to evacuate safely from Ukraine. Natalie is grateful for Mike’s assistance.
Natalie’s mom escapes Ukraine
It turned out that her mother had left Ukraine just two weeks prior to the second attack on Ukraine. In a teaser clip for Monday’s episode she says:
Thank goodness I was able my mom escape.
She also said that her mom lives in a rented apartment now in Bulgaria. In order to join Natalie in the USA, she is awaiting approval of her refugee Visa. She added:
My mom cannot go home because it’s not safe. We lost our home.
Natalie spoke about Mike her ex and said she thinks he is a great person. He helped them when war began, and even bought her mom a ticket. She said, “He helped a lot.”
Even though Mike helped her mom escape from war-torn Ukraine, this doesn’t mean he and Natalie were on good terms when the war began. However, he did quickly show his support for Natalie’s family. The Ukrainian beauty shared his explanation:
After not speaking with Michael in five months, he reached back and said ‘Where is your mom? How can I help?’
He came to Ukraine many times, and he took care of my mom. He gave me the money to pay for the ticket. Michael was the reason she flew her to Bulgaria. Thank you, God. Michael is a hero to me and I love him because of that.
How does this affect the 90 Day Fiancé star’s new relationship?
Now it seems that Mike and Natalie could have a reunion. She said that she booked a trip to Seattle to visit him. He told her mother that he wanted to talk with her.
I want to apologize to Michael for leaving. Also, I forgot my passport and my birth certificate when I left Sequim.
Fans will recall that Mike and Natalie first starred on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. She moved to the US with her K-1 visa in that season. However, it was clear from the start that the couple had many problems, including Natalie’s wish to have children and the fact that he wouldn’t change his diet to support her pescatarian lifestyle.

However, he never offered help, but with Michael, no matter how they parted, she can’t escape the fact that he is still a part of her life. In fact, Natalie admitted, “Michael is in my heart.”
