’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Sheila suffered the loss of her mother in Sunday’s episode of the TLC show.
90 Day Fiancé’Sheila’s mother died unexpectedly on the Sunday episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. In a tragic accident, less than 24 hours after the TLC celebrity introduced her family members to David who traveled all the way from the U.S.A. to the Philippines to meet her, the mother of the TLC celebrity died.
Sheila had warned David about the narrow, unstable stairs in his girlfriend’s home. David was shocked by their poor state when he arrived. Sheila’s mother was standing on those stairs the night David came, and they gave way. She fell near the stairs at 5 in. They found Sheila’s mother dead on the stairs when they woke.
Sheila said to the cameras that it was an unexpected incident. David and my mum just met. She suddenly disappeared. David was shocked at Sheila’s death and offered to reserve a room in a nearby hotel for her 12-year old son Jhonreil. But the Philippines native refused, explaining that Sheila had to spend 24 hours with her dead mother as local tradition dictated.
Sheila stated in an interview that she could not give David the affection he expected. She added, “I can’t rest nor spend time with David.” My responsibility is to stay by my mother’s coffin. It’s good for both of us – we need some rest, and I want to be alone.” David was in agreement that Sheila’s family and Sheila needed some time alone to grieve. He retreated to a nearby hotel for several days. This is the worst thing I have ever seen,” said David. “I sense Sheila’s sadness. Sheila must spend some time grieving with her loved ones.
David later attended Sheila’s mother’s wake. They walked together in a group of mourners. I have cried every night and day since my mother died. [died],” Sheila said. Sheila said, “I’m physically and mentally exhausted.” David acknowledged he felt like a “stranger in the room” but added that his girlfriend Sheila “has so many things to do.” “The last thing I wanted to do was be a bother on Sheila now.”
Sheila did eventually go stay in David’s Hotel, but she admitted that both her romance and the death of her mother were causing difficulties for Sheila. “David really supports me, but I worry I won’t be able to give him what he needs,” Sheila explained.
