A Blackpink film is around the corner, according to the members of the popular K-Pop band. The film will be released via Trafalgar Releasing (a subsidiary of Trafalgar Entertainment), a global leader that has gained prominence for its cinema distribution.
Blackpink film, popularly known as Blackpink the Movie, will also be released by another platform, CJ 4DPlex, in Japan and South Korea collectively. On the other hand, the film will hit the theatres globally on the 4th of August and the 8th of August 2021.

The reports suggest that the tickets for the film will go on sale from the 30th of June 2021. The film will be offered in several formats, which also include the expanded three-screen system.
The three-screen system will utilize the sidewalls of a significant theatre called the Screen X. The idea is to provide a multi-sensory experience that mimics live experiences such as 4DX.
The film will feature scenes that would showcase each of the members of Blackpink, namely, Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose. Some of the important segments of the film are:
‘The Room of Memories’– That would reflect on the five-year journey of the team.
‘Beauty– Feature shorts of all the members of the group.
‘Exclusive Interviews’– This segment represents the messages that are directed to the fans.
A walkthrough on the journey of Blackpink
The K-pop drama made its debut around five years ago with Square One (2016). The album featured songs like “Boombayah” and “Whistle.” However, their debut studio album arrived only last year. Also, the band held a virtual live stream concert, namely The Show to promote their latest LP’s drop.
At the beginning of 2021, Rose began her solo journey with Project R. The project marks a second solo LP from a member of Blackpink. Jennie released the first solo LP in the year 2018.
