Zombies 3 to be released on Disney+

The Zombies franchise quickly became a Disney Channel favorite after the 2018 premiere of its first film.

In the years that followed, the film has been the subject of two sequels. The third and final installment will be released on Disney+ breaking with tradition.

Fans of the film series will be eager to see the final installment. But when does Zombies 3 release on Disney+? And what can they expect from it?

Zombies 3 plot preview

Zombies 3 is the continuation of the story of Zed, a zombie football player, and Addison, a human cheerleader. They embark on their last year at Seabrook High.

After many years of disputes, the town is finally a safe haven both for zombies and humans. Zed and Addison look forward to college.

Seabrook has one final thing to do before the couple can move on to the next step. The town is about to open its new cheer pavilion. Addison invites cheerleading teams from all over the globe to participate in an international cheer-off.

However, the competition also attracts the attention of a group of intergalactic outsiders as a group of aliens arrive in Seabrook to compete – although the residents of the town quickly grow suspicious of the new arrivals when they discover that they may be looking for more than just friendly competition.

Zombies 3’s release date and time

Zombies 3 is set to be released on Disney+, Friday, July 15.^Th, 2022 at midnight Pacific Time (USA)

The film will be available worldwide at the same time, in various time zones. This is similar to the majority of Disney+ films.

• 3 AM ET in the US
• 8am BST in the UK
• 9:15 CEST in Europe
• India, 12:30 PM IST
• 5:05 PM AEST Sydney, Australia

This means that US fans could see the spectacle until the early hours of the morning, while viewers in Australia will be able to watch the event at their leisure.

Meet the new arrivals

A host of aliens are joining the Zombies 3 cast, including A-Lan and A-Li, as well as A-Spen.

The arrival of the three intergalactic cheerleaders had been announced back in May 2021, when filming for the third film was to begin.

These are the characters of the alien trio:

• Matt Cornett as A-Lan
• Kyra Tantao as A-Li
• Terry Hu is A-Spen

Disney fans will be familiar with Matt Cornett, the actor who stars as EJ In. High School Musical: The Musical Series Other roles have also been added The Goldbergs, Game Shakers, Alex & Me, Life in Pieces Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs.

Kyra Taranto, a New Yorker, stars in her second acting role in Zombies 3. This is her first appearance in an episode. Law & Order: SVU.

Terry Hu, a New Jersey actor, has previously appeared in a number of short films. The Cure for All Things: End of Summer And Americanized.

Zombies 3 will stream live on Disney+Beginning Friday, July 15^Th, 2022.
