Yu Hojin, a South Korean sensation, was one of America’s Got Talent’s standout stars.

Fans have been captivated by the magician since his audition. But viewers might be surprised that this was not his first appearance on the show.

Hojin, a former member of The Illusionists touring magic act, was already a successful magician before he joined America’s most prestigious talent show.

The 29-year old performed with the group on 7 consecutive years and was even invited to perform with them in Season 11.

Hojin auditioned with the group again in Season 16, but they weren’t able to do enough to make the finals.

He also won 2012’s FISM World Championships Magic Grand Prix, which was the first Asian championships. magicianTo achieve this honor.

Yu was loved by his fans and received a standing ovation following his semi-final performance. However, his path to the top stage this year wasn’t easy.

Simon Cowell voted no for the magician’s act as he stated that he spent his entire time waiting for something great to happen.

Luckily, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel all voted yes.
