World shockwaves after Shinzo Abe, the former prime minister of Japan, is assassinated

Friday’s assassination by the former prime Minister of Japan caused shockwaves all over the world.

Shinzo Abe was speaking at a small political rally when a 41-year-old assassin with a “personal grudge” opened fire, shooting Abe in the back.

Minutes before Abe took the stage, the suspect could be seen lurking in a background corner. He didn’t even attempt to flee and was taken down by Abe’s security detail, dropping his crude homemade double-barreled gun.

Japan has some of the most strict gun laws in the world, so gun violence is virtually unheard of there. In Japan, gun violence was responsible for just one death in 2021, as opposed to the 20,944 deaths in the United States.

Navy veteran, the assassin apparently built his own weapon out of metal pipes and wooden pieces wrapped in electrical tape. Experts claim that it was an armed assassin. “electrically powered”Firearm firing mechanism

Abe was twice hit and was declared dead after five hours.

Abe was well-known for being Japan’s longest-ruling prime Minister from 2012 to 2020. Trump was his friend, and he shared his passion for golf.

Many world leaders have offered their condolences. Queen Elizabeth says that she fondly remembers meeting Abe at the palace six-years ago.
