Woman who’s already opened her Christmas beauty advent calendar to see what’s inside accused of spoiling the festive fun

One woman admitted that she had already cracked open her advent calendar to check what was inside.

There were several hand lotions and bath products as well as a deodorant roll-on.

Alongside it, she wrote: “Dove advent calendar.. £19.99 home bargains slight increase to last year’s for £14.99 and has same items in.”

People were quick to criticize her for grabbing the advent calendar way too soon.

“Seriously? One person commented, “You have opened it.”

You’re a shame, September is still young.

You’ve probably eaten all the chocolates you purchased!

I was also thinking that! Someone else wrote.

A third said: “You’re on Santa Claus’ naughty-list now!”

Now that I know the contents, I’m not interested in buying one. “Well, I don’t want one now that I know what they contain!” Another commented.

While others debated whether or not the advent calendar was worth the £19.99 it was priced as.

“Well worth £19.99….would cost well more than that if u brought them separately,” one wrote.

Another said, “I can’t believe people say they’re not worth it.”

“I mean the 2 bigger body creams cost nearly £6 in savers and those roll ons are now between £1.50-£2 plus the sprays are over £2.50 each.

“It’s brilliant I am gonna get a couple just to use for now lol!”

“I think the point is that it’s gone up £5 from last year not that the items aren’t worth it,” someone else replied.

“More the fact you’re not getting anything extra for the £5 your paying.”
