Where to watch Jordan Peele’s Nope in the UK

When we talk about horror films we often tend to fixate on the same iconic filmmakers, whether that’s Wes Craven, John Carpenter or beyond. However, we’ve more recently seen a string of filmmakers exhibit the potential to go down in history amongst the genre’s hall of fame, from Ari Aster to Robert Eggers.

But, Jordan Peele could be argued to be a strong candidate for the top spot.

His directorial feature debut Get Out This was a commercial success, which prompted analysis AndCasual moviegoers will simply enjoy the entertainment.

His follow-up feature UseNope arrived recently to confirm that Jordan is indeed three for three. While his third feature was earlier released in a few territories, UK fans may wonder how they can find it once they have it. So, here’s where to watch Nope in the UK.

Watch Nope in the UK

Nope will begin screening in cinemas on Friday, August 12, 2022.

It is not yet known when streaming will be available, so it is best to see the film on the big screen. The MetroSky reports that Nope will soon be available in the digital Sky Store starting in September. Taking this into consideration, it’s likely to arrive as a Home Premiere on the likes of Amazon Video the same month.

Home Premiere releases tend to be priced at £15.99 so we predict Nope will cost the same. Nevertheless, it’s not going to hit home viewing until at least 45 days after its theatrical release date.

What to expect: The film’s sci-fi horror story follows two siblings who believe that they can capture footage of an UFO passing over their land. As you’ve grown to expect from Jordan Peele, lots of surprises are in store.

‘That’s always the challenge I put on myself’

Because of his success with previous films, ComplexJordan was recently asked whether he feels pressure to surpass them.

“I think you have to treat them as separate entities. Because I think even if people think they want you to do something similar, they really want you to break out of that mold and so that’s always the challenge I put on myself.”

He continued: “How do I keep some essence of what people like about my work but give him something completely different and that’s how we got Nope.”

Nope will be in cinemas Friday, August 12th 2022.
