‘Wheel Of Time’ Ted Field Develops Reality Racing Format

EXCLUSIVE: The first fruitsWheel of Time executive producer Ted Field’s Radar Pictures and N4XT Experience’s joint venture are emerging with the development of a “first of a kind” non-scripted reality competition based on Gameloft’s Asphalt Videogame series

Radar, also known as theJumanjiN4XT Experiences and franchise unveiled their RadarN4XT partnership last January. It focuses on the development of new IP for videogames and adapting existing IP for television and film.

Asphalt,The first project to emerge is a series of driving competitions that the pair describes as an “anonymous” project. “industry first,”This competition is not scripted but is based upon a videogame.

To earn a place on the track, gamers, car enthusiasts, and adrenaline-seekers will be competing. From there, the finalists will be able to move into Asphalt House where they can practice their driving skills. They will also face challenges at Asphalt Driving Academy. The gamers will compete against each other, as well as surprise guests until the winner is chosen to be named Asphalt Legend.

Ted Field and Anthony Tringali will produce for Radar. Marcus Ticotin, Ciarra Perdo and Imad Izemrane for N4XT.

“In our groundbreaking unscripted series, we are excited to take the Asphalt games to the next level by putting gamers in the driver’s seat of cool cars in turbocharged races,” said Tringali.
