Which language are they speaking in Wakanda Forever’s Wakanda?

Four languages feature in Wakanda Forever. The fictional country of Wakanda may not be real, but the languages they speak are. Xhosa is Wakanda’s main language.

Xhosa, one of the official languages in South Africa and Zimbabwe is the first language spoken by more than 8 million people. It is also the second language spoken by over 11 million people.

The language is prominently featured in the films Captain America, Civil War, Avengers, Infinity War and the original Black Panther.

What language features are there in other languages?

Three other languages, beyond Xhosa are also easily recognized. Two additional languages are available, in addition to English.

Many scenes in the film feature Haitian French. Nakia is the main character who speaks this language. Haitian French, a variant of French that is popular in Hati, is Haitian French. The language variety is close to French, despite its geographic differences. Hati is found on the Caribbean Sea’s Greater Antilles archipelago. East of Cuba and Jamacia.

Also, the Mayan language is featured. Namor and Talokanil are two inhabitants of the Talokan underwater kingdom. They speak the language. Mayan contains 21 languages. All Mayan variants can be found in Mesoamerica and Central America, both located south of Mexico.

Surprisingly though, this is the largest number of languages featured in an MCU movie to date.
