What is toad-venom?

Toad poison is a natural psychedelic made from the powerful toad venom that is secreted by the glands in Colorado River toads. These toads can also be called the Sonoran Desert Toad.

People used to lick the Colorado River toads in the 1980s to feel a hallucinogenic effect due to the toad’s poison, which contained 5-MEO–DMT.

People stopped licking toads’ venom and started to smoke toads venom in an effort to enjoy the hallucinogenic or psychedelic effects of toads venom.

What are the consequences of toad-venom?

This powerful venom begins to take effect after 30 seconds. It lasts for 5 minutes.

After this period, the user is physically incapacitated for around 30 minutes.
