United Press InternationalAccording to reports, Joyce Dahmer (then Flint), tried suicide in March 1994. Joyce Dahmer (then Flint) was living in Fresno at the time. She was found face-down in Fresno’s kitchen. “after turning on her gas oven and leaving its door open.”
Police also discovered a will Joyce had left behind along with a handwritten letter that said, “It’s been a lonely life, especially today. Please cremate me.”
She continued to write. “I love my sons, Jeff and David.”Joyce bequeathed everything to David in her will. Eight months later, Jeffrey Dahmer, who was in prison for murder in November 1994, would die in jail.
