Chloe’s absence is most likely due to the legal drama in which the Chrisleys find themselves: Todd and Julie were charged with federal tax fraud.
To rent a California home, the couple allegedly provided false paperwork (credit report and bank statement). They were also accused of funneling their money through film production companies in order to avoid paying their taxes.
They were found guilty of conspiracy and tax evasion and 12 counts of wire and bank fraud. This earned them a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. They will be sentenced on October 6, 2022. The Chrisleys remain under house arrest until then.
