What Fox Thinks about Mayim Bialik's Jeopardy at the Same Time as Call Me Kat

Television viewers are getting a double dose Mayim Bialik, part-time, since recently Jeopardy! host and as the star of Fox’s Call me Kat. The fans have supported the Big Bang TheoryVet headlines two shows which can seem taxing to most. But things appear to be working in Bialik’s favor at the moment. Her well-being and happiness are always top of mind. But, how does her home network feel about her simultaneously hosting sitcoms?

The network hasn’t said much about the Call me KatThe sitcom stars a star and Jeopardy!For the remainder of Season 38. This is the case up to now. Michael Thorn, President of Fox Entertainment, spoke to THRMayim Bialik hosts the legendary game show while also working in sitcoms. The executive shared some encouraging thoughts.

Call Me Kat is something we believe in, and Mayim does a fantastic job behind and in front of the camera. It’s no surprise she’s also doing exceptional work on Jeopardy!. We’ve really tried to support her while she’s doing Kat. As long as we can keep doing Call Me Kat at the level we’re doing it, we’re happy to support Mayim and our other talent trying to do other creative endeavors that lean into their ambitions. Mayim’s being on Jeopardy is a good thing. isn’t the worst thing for Call Me Kat. It’s a good thing to have her out there in front of an audience that maybe hasn’t watched Kat yet but might now because they love her on Jeopardy!. We’re very supportive of it. We’ve really tried to work with her and her team and Sony [which produces Jeopardy!]We are willing to work together to make it work. As long as we can protect Kat, we’re very happy to support her and feel like they’re beneficial to each other.

Fox is expected to support the star’s simultaneous acting and hosting duties, as long as Sony and the broadcaster continue to work out the schedule. It is refreshing to see both entertainment companies working together to ensure that the star does the work that she loves. Should that continue, the studio behind will be able to provide support. Jeopardy!She may be interested in becoming a permanent host on the legendary game show.

Michael Thorn noted that Mayim Bialik’s hosting duties are also considered a win for the event. Call me Kat, as the game show’s popularity can translate to more eyeballs for the sitcom. Bialik has already won the approval of contestants and fans including Amy Schneider (record-breaking champ). It is also worth noting that Season 2 of KatSome strong ratings were received for the launch.

It’s hard not to love the success that the actress is enjoying. As she gets older, you can be sure that she will become more adept at handling the challenges of hosting a long-running show and writing scripted shows.
