Saudi Arabia Unveils £43 Million Luxury Train as Part of Vision 2030
Saudi Arabia opens a luxury train service as part of its trillion-dollar initiative to become the center of the world. A recent partnership with Italian hospitality company, Arsenale Group, pushed Saudi Arabia to introduce the first high-speed luxury train, named “Dream of the Dessert.”
Enter the Era of Luxury Train Cruises
This new luxury train will take passengers from Riyadh to Qurayyat, covering an 800-mile route across stunning desert landscapes. Focusing on Saudi tradition and style, the train will offer fully-customized 40 luxury cabins in a journey that will allow for one or two-night trips with a maximum capacity of 82 passengers.
Redefining the Transportation Experience
The Dream of the Desert carriages will route at speeds of up to 186 mph, with plans to expand the rail network to span the entire Middle Eastern kingdom. Beyond the opulence lies an ambition for grandeur, as the country plans to spend more than $175 billion annually on mega projects and boasts of a projected $1.3 trillion in major ventures between 2025 and 2028.
