Reggie Chaney was a University of Houston basketball grad who passed away at age 23.

The college athletics community is mourning the loss of a rising star.

Former University of Houston Basketball Player Reggie Chaney has died, Multiple reports have confirmed this.. He was 23.

At this point, no details have been released about the death of the former Olympian.

Chaney is originally from Tulsa (Oklahoma) and spent his first two college seasons at University of Arkansas. He then finished up in Houston.

A Cougar’s forward is the most important part of its design. Averaging 3.0 points, 2.7 rebounds per game. The American Athletic Conference also awarded him the Sixth Man Award for 2022-2023.
