Bravo Boss Exonerates Andy Cohen from Drugs and Sexual Harassment Accusations – Housewives Claims Shut Down

Andy Cohen Cleared of Drug and Sexual Harassment Accusations

Andy Cohen has been cleared of drug and sexual harassment accusations made by former Real Housewives cast members after the Bravo boss shut down the claims. In February, ex-Bravo stars Leah McSweeney and Brandi Glanville filed lawsuits against the Watch What Happens Live host.

Investigation Results in Clearing Andy of Allegations

As of Thursday, investigators have cleared Andy, 55, of the Real Housewives alums’ accusations, as reported by Deadline. A Bravo spokeswoman stated, “The outside investigation into the recent allegations made by Brandi Glanville and Leah McSweeney against Andy Cohen has now been completed, and the claims were found to be unsubstantiated.”

Andy Addresses Complaints and Denies Accusations

Earlier this month, Andy addressed complaints against him, including Leah McSweeney’s claim that producers hid liquor bottles on set. Andy denied this allegation, stating, “Sure, there are people who drink. There are many people who never drink. We don’t force anyone to do anything.”

Leah McSweeney claimed to Vanity Fair that producers hid liquor bottles on set, which Andy completely denied. “Andy continued, “But no one is secretly hiding liquor bottles on set. That’s ridiculous. We’ve been very supportive of people’s sobriety.”

Unsubstantiated Claims and False Accusations

Leah accused the workplace culture at Bravo of encouraging alcoholism and pain, but Andy rejected these claims. The TV personality also dismissed allegations of engaging in cocaine use with the cast members of Real Housewives and other Bravo shows.

Andy’s representative addressed Leah’s claims, labeling them as “completely false.”

Allegations of Unsavory Behavior

In a separate incident, Brandi Glanville accused Andy of sexual misconduct, claiming that he made inappropriate comments and exercised control over her career. After learning of these allegations, Andy apologized to Brandi.

Last month, Brandi criticized Andy for focusing on women’s appearance on his show, specifically targeting their weight loss and cosmetic procedures. She emphasized the disparity in questioning male guests about the same topics.

Andy Denies Claims and Plans to Stay

Despite the backlash, Andy stated that he has no intentions of leaving the network and is committed to his current roles. There were speculations about his departure, but Andy confirmed that he enjoys his work at Bravo and has no immediate plans to leave.

“Hopefully [Bravo will] keep employing me for a while because I like it there,” Andy expressed, emphasizing his job satisfaction and gratitude for his career opportunities.
