Teen MomTyler Baltierra, Catelynn Lowell, and Catelynn Lowell are celebrating 16 years of marriage with a special weekend without their kids. Catelynn & Tyler leave Nova, seven-year-old, Vaeda (three year old), and Rya (one year) behind to spend the weekend with Amber. They are looking stunning for the romantic dinner. But the wind is not pleased with Catelynn’s gown and she exposes her bicycle shorts to their amusement.
“You’re like Marilyn with that damn dress,” Tyler laughs and tells his wife, who is giggling with him, that she has to have some “double-sided tape” This allowed her to keep her clothes dry in the breeze. Tyler and Catelynn then toast to each other as they settle down at the table. “crazy” 16 years together and everything they’ve been through – from teenage pregnancy and placing daughter Carly for adoption to their wedding and welcoming three more kids into their family.
“You’re the one that married me…crazy,” Tyler teases and quips with his wife. “You just married a winner.” He agreed. “Oh I definitely won. I question your sanity every day marrying my ass. I got pretty lucky.” The MTV father begins to think. “I wonder how many people at 30 can say they’ve been with someone else for over half their life? That’s insane.”
“Are you happy with that?” Catelynn questions Tyler, in a joke. “I mean there are days,” He was insistent before he jumped in. “just kidding,” As his wife is in agreement “me too, me too.” Catelynn looks forward to the next 15 year and wonders if that will be enough. “raising kids and chaos,” Tyler assured Tyler that they would make it theirs “beautiful chaos.”
“At least it’s stable and there’s love and there’s talking and communication. I mean, I know we don’t do everything perfect by any means-” Catelynn is still going strong, and Tyler joins the fray. “Oh hell no, God.” Catelynn thinks that their childhood experiences are what made them who they are today. “doing a pretty good job,” The two of them reach for each others’ hands, trade I love Youssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
