Nick Cannon’s polyamorous lifestyle is beyond comprehension to many of his fans, and the actor and the Mothers of his children are getting flak from people who do not understand or approve of the lifestyle they’ve chosen. LaNisha Cole, mother of Cannon’s ninth child OnyxHowever, she is defining the boundaries when it comes to her one-month-old daughter. She called out online trolls who made death threats against her baby.
Onyx Ice Cole Cannon was born September 14, as the first child to Nick Cannon and LaNisha Cole. Onyx is the ninth child to be born to a family of siblings. The Masked Singer host. The baby girl appears to have been the target of haters via social media. The Price is Right model took to her Instagram StoriesClap back at the “disgusting” behavior. She stated (via The Blast):
A baby being threatened with death is an unacceptable act. Some of you guys seem disgusting. Regardless of how you feel about my life it’s never that deep to threaten my baby.
One would assume that any reasonable person would agree that threatening a baby’s life is absolutely reprehensible. LaNisha Cole didn’t give any oxygen to the specifics of the comments she’s received, but the fact that she had to address this at all is admittedly sad, not to mention scary. The first months of a baby’s life can be overwhelming enough for parents, and now, she and Nick Cannon can’t even post cute photos to Instagram without worrying about what people are going to say about Onyx.
The Wild ‘n Out star, however, seemingly hasn’He didn’t let the hate stop him from sharing happy moments and family moments with them. He’s shared some adorable pics of his newest daughter over the past month, including these:
LaNisha Cole, for her part, shared a photo of her new baby when she announced Onyx’s birth, but has turned comments off of the post. It seems Nick Cannon knows what his parents expect from him and his partners when they talk about their family. Even after his son’s birth, he said on Instagram:
We all know that I’m not easily triggered, have a tough skin, and have always been open to learning. However not everyone in my family is as strong. I ask that others not criticize me but the precious and loving Mothers of my children, so I pray and ask them to do the same. @MissLanishaCole is one of the most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational kind souls I’ve ever witnessed, and only deserves to revel in this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please allow her to have that.
