It’s been a minute since we spent time with some Robots in Disguise on the big screen, with 2018’s BumblebeeWe are simultaneously taken back to 1987 while simultaneously pressing the “Reboot” button. Transformers movies. Next summer, however. Transformers: Rise of the BeastsFinally, the Autobots and Decepticons will arrive with the Maximals and Predacons accompanied by Terrorcons. Although much of Rise of the Beasts’ cast had already been revealed, it’s been announced that Saturday Night LivePete Davidson, alum and Everything at once’s Michelle Yeoh have been added in key roles.
This information is straight from Steven Caple Jr. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts’ director, who went on InstagramIt is important to mention that Pete Davidson will play the Autobot called Mirage and Michelle Yeoh the Maximal called Airazor. Below are some quick clips Caple captured of Davidson and Yeoh during their respective recording sessions.
Pete Davidson will be the second actor who voices Mirage in the film TransformersFilm series. The role was previously held by Francesco Quinn. Transformers: Dark of the Moon. In that movie, Mirage was an Autobot spy who turned into a red Ferrari 458 Italia, but Davidson’s Mirage’s vehicle form will be a silver and blue Porsche 964. As for Michelle Yeoh’s Airazor, she will have the capability to become a peregrine falcon in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Both of these actors have voiced before, and Pete Davidson has voiced both. Marmaduke’s eponymous character and Yeoh’s credits in this field including Kung Fu Panda 2, The Rise of Gru: MinionsAnd The Legend of Hank: Paws of Fury.
In 1994, Transformers: Rise of the BeastsAnthony Ramos stars as Noah, and Dominque Fischback plays Elena. They are both drawn into an ancient conflict that involves the Maximals Terrorcons, Predacons, and Maximals. This leads them to travel the world. Pete Davidson and Michelle Yeoh’s fellow voice actors on Rise of the BeastsPeter Cullen plays Optimus Prime. Rom Perlman is Optimus Primal. Other robot characters appear include Bumblebees, Whelljacks, Rhinoxes, Cheetors, Scourge and Nightbird, as well the Terrorcons.
