“Star Trek: The Next Generation”Cast members Patrick Stewart, Gates McFadden and others reunited at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday to promote the final season of Paramount+. “Star Trek: Picard.”
Although they couldn’t make it to Hall H, Stewart and McFadden (Dr. Beverly Crusher), will be joining the new season. “TNG”Costars Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton (Geordi Las Forge), Michael Dorn and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi), as well as Brent Spiner (who played android Data). “TNG” and plays Data’s human brother Alan Inigo Soong on “Picard”), and fellow “Picard”Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker) were costars.
Alex Kurtzman is the series’ executive producer. Picard will have set out to reunite his old crew members, scattered all over the galaxy, according to Kurtzman. “I think we took two seasons to earn the return of the [“TNG”] crew” Kurtzman said. Kurtzman kept it quiet on the identity of the villain for the new season. “”I won’t say much except to say that she’s amazing.”
A teaser trailer was also released by the show’s creators. “PIcard,”These can be viewed below.
Lea Thompson moderated the panel. She directed two episodes on The Simpsons. “Picard” Season 2 and also appeared in a small onscreen role in the season’s fifth episode.
This teaser shows the first glimpses of Season 3 in its new teaser. “TNG”Characters who have yet to appear on “Picard” — namely Burton’s Geordi, Dorn’s Worf, and McFadden’s Crusher — as well as some intriguing hints at what they’re up to. Geordi appears to be in an admiral’s Starfleet uniform, while Worf appears to be wearing captain’s rank insignia. However, Dr. Crusher is not wearing a uniform.

The final and third season of “Picard,”The filming of which the cast has completed this spring’s production, will be aired in 2023.
