Tom Schwartz Almost Quit Vanderpump Rules – Discover Why We’re Glad He Didn’t

Is Tom Schwartz’s time on “Vanderpump Rules” up?

Tom Schwartz’s Feigned Role on “Vanderpump Rules”

At this point in the show, Tom Schwartz’s involvement in “Vanderpump Rules” seems to be that of a weak mediator, constantly attempting to make peace between the disgraced Tom Sandoval and the rest of the cast. However, his efforts to reconcile the situation are clearly not going as planned. In Season 11, Episode 4, Schwartz advises Sandoval to go on the mandated cast trip and express remorse for his actions. In response, Sandoval expresses anger towards his former friends for criticizing his affair. It’s clear that Schwartz’s attempts at mediation are not yielding the desired results.

Tom Schwartz: The Superfluous Character

Schwartz continues to share custody of his two dogs with Katie Maloney, leading to occasional interactions between the two. It’s evident that he tends to choose the option that will inevitably irritate Maloney the most. His interactions with Maloney post-divorce are gaining attention, and they have become a favored aspect of the show for many viewers. Additionally, he recently had a heartfelt conversation with Lala Kent, with whom he has frequently clashed, and it appeared that the two managed to reconcile. However, the question remains, is any of this really crucial to the show? The answer is a resounding no.

In his 40s, Schwartz continues to engage in youthful activities such as launching himself off a roof into a pool alongside the much younger James Kennedy. It has become increasingly evident with each appearance on the show that his presence is unnecessary. It’s unlikely that he will regain the favor of either Maloney or Ariana Madix, or convince Sandoval to apologize for his actions. If the most significant contribution he can make to the series is dyeing his hair blond, it’s simply not enough. Schwartz is no longer bringing the unique drama that once captivated audiences, leading many to believe that it’s time for him to make his exit. However, if he insists on staying, he might consider joining former cast members Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright-Taylor, and Kristen Doute on the upcoming spin-off “The Valley.”
