Tom Hanks Reprises David S. Pumpkins, Takes On New Pixar Role

He is back! Saturday Night Live‘s Tom Hanks has returned to the show, playing the role of David S. Pumpkins after a long hiatus. In a prison ride skit Pumpkins and his faithful dancing skeletons performed the feat, which was again played by Mikey Day. SNLBobby Moynihan (alum), mixes it up with classic horror characters, such as Pennywise and Freddy Krueger. Any questions? You can watch the video below.

Hanks was also featured in a skit that concluded at an AA Meeting. Jesse, a member of the group, was also present at the meeting. SNLJack Harlow is the host and musical guest. He pitches his pitch. “the perfect idea for a Pixar movie”About “lost luggage trying to find its way home.”

Jesse even brought along concept art for the main characters: a regular, everyday luggage, a briefcase guy who’s a bit tight (to play by Jason Bateman), as well as a gym bag named Jim.

They brainstorm ideas for characters such as a Minion-type neck pillow or Pierre the fancy French bag. They even create a song. “all these movies have a big song they sing at the Oscars.”Its main theme is “You gotta pack yourself with love.”
