JustifiedFans celebrated the announcement by FX that Timothy Olyphant and Raylan Givens would be joining FX. Making his long-gestating returnFor a new kind of mission, The limited continuation series Justified: City Primeval. The project is in production. Filming was temporarily stopped due to an unsafe situation involving a vehicular firearmfight.

On the night of Wednesday, July 20, it’s reported that the occupants of two vehicles were engaged in a gunfight, with both cars smashing through the barricades surrounding the show’s set, which is located near Douglass Park in Chicago. According to DeadlineCast and crew members ran for cover, dove to safety, and Timothy Olyphant was also present at the scene.

The set was later found with shell casings, but no injuries were sustained. It wasn’t clear what happened to the drivers/shooters within the vehicles, and the report made no mention of the capacity in which authorities were involved.

Justified: City Primeval shut things down on on the set throughout Thursday, and it’s reported that production is planning to resume on Monday, July 25. Although it seems that the set was not damaged in the accident, it is possible. You can expect some additional security to this part of the set.

Emmy-nominated Timothy Olyphant assumed the role of U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens portrayed the role of U.S. JustifiedBoyd Crowder, who is frequently at the opposite end from Walton Goggins. While it is possible for the character to make a quick appearance from jail (excepting a sudden release from a big house), Goggins does not belong in the City PrimevalSo it does not appear like Boyd will be grace the television speakers with any of his floral Alabama oratory skills.

It is not yet known if there will be a release window. Justified: City PrimevalFX will premiere the show sometime in 2022, or early 2023.
