Their directorial debut is just weeks away “Am I OK?”Sundance: Stephanie Allynne and Tig Notaro, comedian, have already made plans for their next film.
Notaro & Allynne have been appointed to direct “Time and Space,”The film is about an individual who has knowledge. Judd Apatow and the duo are teaming up to produce it.
Allynne is the director “Time and Space”The screenplay and story were co-written by Notaro. They will also produce the movie through Something Fierce. Apatow Productions will be producing.
Notaro will star as the other half of a lesbian couple who find their lives in turmoil after they move from Los Angeles to upstate New York. Based on their near-decision after having twins, the film follows them as they consider whether making a similar move would have been disastrous.
“Am I OK?,” which will premiere Monday at Sundance out of competition and is an acquisition title, stars Dakota Johnson and Sonoya Mizuno as two lifelong friends whose friendship is tested when Johnson’s character embarks on a personal journey. Notaro stars in the film.
Notaro and Allynne are a couple who collaborated on Notaro’s show “One Mississippi,” and they’re currently writing on a political comedy for Netflix called “First Ladies.”
Ziffren Brittenham and MGMT Management represent Notaro. Allynne is represented by Gersh, Rise Management and Lichter, Grossman, Nichols, Adler, Feldman & Clark. UTA, Mosaic and Ziffren Brittenham represent Apatow.
