Taika Waititi actually has thoughts about making another. Thor movie. He would only accept one condition. Be aware that we will not be discussing it unless he agrees to one condition. Big Love and ThunderSpoilers follow below, so click away if you haven’t seen it yet.
The Avengers 5Teaser
Before the Love and ThunderPremiere, Chris Hemsworth suggested that he would like to continue playing Thor in MCU. He even mentioned in one interview that he would be willing to continue playing Thor in the MCU. Avengers 5Here’s a list of movies in which Thor may appear beyond the first.
This seemed to indicate that Thor wasn’t destined to die in Love and Thunder. And should he retire, he could always return to being one of the universe’s main heroes.
Then you can Love and ThunderThe plot leak was revealed, with detailed scenes in the post-credits. That’s how we knew that Jane (Natalie Portman) died in Thor. As for Thor, he will continue to help those in need alongside Gorr’s daughter. Separately, Hercules (Brett Goldstein), has been given a task by Zeus (Russell Crowe), to locate and kill Thor.
Marvel would have to tie these loose ends in a future MCU movie, whether it’s Avengers 5Or, Thor 5 release. However, it’s too soon to talk about either of them, considering the plethora of distinct stories that Marvel has to tell in Phase 4.
Then there’s the Love and Thunder finale and the Hercules post-credits scene, there’s one more detail at the end of Thor 4That hint points to a possible sequel. You can find the ending of Marvel’s Love and Thunder told the audienceThat “Thor will return.”
Taika Waititi on a Thor 5Film
That’s the kind of message you expect from MCU movies part of specific franchises. But that’s not something that Taika Waititi expected. He Found outThor will return, even though he was not watching Love and Thunder:
You’re right! It was also a surprise to myself. I’m not joking. I saw it in the theatre and was amazed. ‘Oh, shit. Really?’Chris, even. ‘What?” But, of course he’We’ll be back. He’s the best character. I mean, I may be a little biased, but he’s the most fun to watch.
The surprise couldn’t have been that big, considering how the movie ends. You can’t have that finale in Love and ThunderYou can’t expect events featuring Thor to be repeated in the MCU. Not to mention that Jane’s story doesn’t seem complete. She may be able to find a way to come back from Valhalla. She is Mighty Thor. Marvel didn’t specify when Thor would return.
Waititi mentioned a possible return of the MCU to a Thor 5 movie. That’s where He droppedHis main condition. Hemsworth must be back, too.
Now, I don’t know what would be next. If Chris did it, I would do it. It would have to be something unexpected and unpredicted for me to consider it. So what is the new direction? It’s fine to have battles and all that fighting. But I want something unexpected in the story. It’s like making a $5 million movie without any fighting. You might like Nebraska.
When will Marvel be released? Thor 5?
RagnarokIn 2017, the film was first shown. Love and ThunderThe movie should have been released on November 5, 2021. The pandemic ravaged, and the movie suffered delays in keeping up with other MCU projects.
With that in mind, we’d expect at least three years between Thor 4 Thor 5Assuming Marvel releases another film in the Thor franchise. That’s because Thor could return in Avengers 5You can also choose to work on a different MCU. There’s no guarantee that a fifth ThorIt will be seen the light of day.
Like any other standalone Mighty ThorThey should not be part a separate franchise.
Marvel will reveal additional information about the MCU this year at Comic-Con as well as D23. However, it is possible that this may be premature to anticipate a Thor 5These events will announce the movie release date.
