These are the best Christmas attractions events in 2014 from Legoland & Alton Towers

CHRISTMAS is right around the corner, and UK’s top attractions have begun to dust off their festive decorations and hang up lights for the occasion.

You can treat your children to extra joy in the lead up to Christmas by visiting the many theme parks that offer some of their top rides and Christmas entertainment.

Legoland

Legoland will celebrate Christmas between November 26 and January 3.

Decorations made of Lego will transform the park, including Christmas trees, stars, and candles.

Guests can also enjoy Father Christmas’s Magical Sleigh as it travels from Heartlake City to Pirate Shores.

Ollie’s Christmas Chaos is a new show for 2022 where guests can send a letter to the north pole and build a Christmas tree decoration.

You can also visit Santa Claus in the winter wonderland, which features 24 rides.

Christmas tickets cost £32pp as well as an additional £20 per child to see Father Christmas.

The Festive Day Out will be held at Alton Towers on selected dates between November 25 and January 2. It will include live entertainment, Christmas food, drinks, festive dishes and wooden igloos.

The entry to the Christmas Market is completely free. Guests may purchase a Festive Day Out ticket that includes admission to CBeebies Land with Gangsta Granny: The Ride and Mutiny bay, HEX, and Spinball Whizzer.

Lightopia is also being hosted in the park, and will transport guests through Lightopia. “Christmas Wonder” With light shows, lanterns and a watershow

You can also book overnight stays and enjoy accommodation at a theme hotel as well as Santa’s Grotto and entry to Lightopia.

Drayton Manor Park

Drayton Manor Christmas will include decorations and Santa’s Grotto, which includes an all-new gingerbread decorating class, as well as a live festive show.

Between November 26 and December 24, there will be 25 attractions and rides for families in Thomas Land.

The Grotto Experience will allow guests to craft letters to Santa Claus and share stories with Mrs Claus.

Santa’s House Party, a live performance, will be featured this year. This show promises magic, song, and humor for all ages.

Winter’s Tail returns for another year. Guests can visit Father Christmas from November 26 through January 3 and get access to the Winter’s Tail’s top-secret toys workshop.

You can even join children on an interactive adventure with the Elfs as they make delicious holiday delights in the Magical Christmas Kitchen.

Elmer’s Christmas Party is also back with the Wild Christmas Panto.

A selection of theme park rides and a zoo featuring its reindeer are also available to guests.

Paultons Park & Peppa Pig World

Peppa PigWorld will be decorated in Christmas spirit on select dates between December 3 and December 23.

Guests can enjoy a light show with a giant musical Christmas tree coming to life every 15 minutes.

A selection of attractions and rides will also be available for this festive season.

Santa Nick will also be performing on stage during Santa’s Christmas Wish Show. Guests will get the opportunity to meet Frosty and Rudolph, as well as Billy and Belinda Elves.

Tickets for Christmas cost £35 each for those over 1m tall or £135 for a family of four.
