It is revealed in “Avengers Endgame,”Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner, took on a new identity, Ronin, during the five-year period after Thanos destroyed half of all human life. He went on a rampage through the criminal underworld.
Hawkeye claimed that he killed criminals to get the chance to live, while his family lost their lives in the snap. Hawkeye may have forgotten his past as the Ronin but it is probable that he was angry at a lot criminals and their loved ones during his rampage.
The trailers “Hawkeye”The Ronin suit is worn by Kate Bishop (Hailee Steingfeld), which could make it easier for criminals to pursue her in vengeance on Hawkeye.
Hawkeye lost the love of his life in “Avengers Endgame.”

It is evident that Hawkeye, Black Widow were close friends. Black Widow even knew of Hawkeye’s secret family. “Avengers” “Black Widow”Both referred to a Budapest mission that the heroes completed together, which cemented their friendship.
Hawkeye was therefore afflicted by survivor’s guilt after Black Widow’s death and lost his best friend.
“Hawkeye”Insider was told by Rhys Thomas, the director of Black Widow that this set up the show perfectly. This implies that Black Widow’s passing will be mentioned or hinted at.
