THE Voice was embroiled today in a ‘fix-it’ row. Fans criticized the voting process of the show after Anthonia Eds was crowned the winner tonight.
Saturday evening’s instalment of the ITV show saw Anthonia Edwards, Mark Howard, David Adeogun, and Naomi Johnson battle it out for the top spot.

After her performance of Billie Eilish’s When The Party’s over, Anthonia won the contest.
While she was awarded the title of season 11 champion, many people watching at home were not happy.
Fans of the hit talent program were confused at how she was able to win the title.
One of these was mentioned on Twitter: “There’s a pattern going on in the UK at the moment where the public don’t get to vote. Didn’t get to vote for our Prime Minister or the Winner of the Voice.”
Another question was posted on the social media platform “Why do the studio audience choose? #fix #TheVoice.”
Another third of the users chimed into Instagram: “It must be a fix how Naomi Johnson’s not made the final 2, I think Naomi is the most talented woman ever.”
A fourth was added: “#TheVoiceUK Antonia right winner but still with Mark Howard!! Just who were “”The Voters””?? Thought it was public vote!!”
Central Recorder reached out to ITV for comment.
However, Anthonia was loved by many.

Anthonia took to Instagram to share her how excited she is to start her new journey after bagging a record contract with Universal’s label UMOD.
The singer posted on Instagram: “REAL LIFE – PINCH ME MOMENT !!!!!!!!” ✨I can’t believe it!!!! God Only 🙏🏾.
“Thanks so much for all your support on this journey.
“To my family, to all the coaches, my staff, and all the contestants, as well as the incredible people who have tuned in each week, I am grateful for you all.

Anthonia revealed recently that she nearly lost her final performance with Sir Tom Jones because she forgot her lines.
The nurse, who used to look after Covid patients, admitted she was so nervous duetting with the Welsh icon on a cover of James Brown’s It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World last night that she had a memory blank.
Fortunately she pulled it together — and now she is penning songs for her debut album.
Anthonia told Central Recorder: “It’s incredibly surreal. I’m so proud of myself and the duet with Sir Tom was incredible.
“But there was a moment where I got stung as I nearly forgot my lines.
“I don’t think people noticed as I had styled it out, but it was a close call.”
