It’s not the first comment Joy made on The View.
She shocked her cohosts in February by telling the joke while discussing a serious subject.
The 80-year old discussed news that Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had been given footage of the Capitol Riot.
She added: “Less then a week following Tucker Carlson’s full admission that he does not believe in the election fraud lie he broadcasts on his show, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy handed him the security footage taken at the 6th of January erection.
After the host’s face turned red, she tried to correct the error by saying “election”, before finally choosing the correct wording “insurrection.”
Joy hid her face with her hands in shame and her co-hosts were laughing.
Alyssa joked: “Well done!”
Sara and Sunny tried to hide their faces and purse their lips while barely suppressing their laughter.
