In answer to questions from her Instagram followers, she said that the ink was a gift she received at an Indian exhibit during a museum visit. Duggar revealed that she fears needles. She said it was difficult to even get her nose pierced. Duggar expressed concern about how painful and long it would take to get tattooed. She admitted that she was hesitant about getting tattooed. “I’m a very sentimental person, so I could see myself getting a tattoo.”
