There is a small holiday resort with crystal clear waters in Turkey, which remains mostly undiscovered by tourists.

Seaside towns in Turkey can get very crowded, but there are still some secluded spots where holidaymakers can relax in peace.

One of those is Kaş, a tiny holiday resort that’s praised by travel experts.

Articles in The Guardian, travel writer Annabelle Thorpe revealed that she’d been holidaying in the Turkish seaside town of Kaş for nearly 30 years, first visiting in 1994/

The “jewel” of the Turquoise Coast, she said:

“In those days, Kaş was where you went for a proper night out.”

Since her first trip to Kaş, Annabelle explained how she’d often return to the resort for “a properly Turkish break.”

“Remaining in the Peninsula offers an escape from the city, but there is no bus service so you will have to depend on taxis.”

Turkish travel bloggers Duygu and Bilgehan have also been blown away by Kaş.

Kaş is a seaside town found on the Mediterranean coast in southwest Turkey.

Even in winter, temperatures rarely drop below 16C. They regularly reach 32C. Summer is here!.

It is best to visit between September and November when temperatures are not as high.

You’ll be surprised to learn that this Turkish seaside town has several beautiful beaches.

Kaputas Beach is one such beach, and it has been dubbed as “one of the best beaches in Europe”. The “most beautiful beaches in the world” The Med is a beautiful place with sand that’s golden, though you have to take 187 steps to get to the beach.

Beachgoers in the summer can hire parasols or sunloungers at a low cost.

Other facilities include showers, toilets and changing rooms. There is also a snack bar.

Big Pebble Beach, Blanca Beach and other nearby beaches are also worth visiting.

As well as the beaches, there are cultural attractions in Kaş too including the Antiphellos Theatre, the Lion’s Tomb (a 4th-century sarcophagus) and Tuğra Art Gallery.
