In Season 3, Episode 3″Pickle Rick”The scientist manages to make himself into a pickle. His daughter Beth is annoyed and believes he did it to avoid family counseling. As Rick exclaims, “I’m Pickle Rick!,”Morty stares blankly at him and then says “I’m just trying to figure out why you would do this, why anyone would do this.”Chaos ensues when Rick falls off his worktable and into the sewer. He uses the brain and limbs of a dead rat to escape his predicament.
Like Morty: Many “Rick and Morty” fans didn’t quite get this particular gag. Pickle Rick was actually annoyed with many of them within minutes. Reddit has many threads dedicated to pickle-haters who vehemently disagree with each other.
