Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessThe final marketing push for the year is only two months away. This will also include the release additional merchandise. And that’s not all. Doctor Strange 2A toy leak has been released, teasing another exciting cameo for the movie.
You can have cameos! Multiverse of MadnessThe most talked-about MCU Project right now. We have been witness to a steady stream of Doctor Strange 2Cameo leaks revealed all the possible characters that could appear in the film. Many of them will be Avengers versions from the multiverse with which our Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), will interact. But there’s another type of cameo that the new toy reminds us of. Before I explain, let me remind you that Below are some big spoilers.
The Multiverse of MadnessCameos
We will first look at the new. Doctor Strange 2 toy, we’ll have to remind you that there are two types of cameos that you’ll want to look out for in the movie. We have first of all the Marvel characters who will make brief appearances while Strange explores the multiverse.
Marvel strongly implied or confirmed that Professor X (Patrick Stewart), as well as Captain Carter (Hayley Awell) would appear in the film. And that’s likely just the tip of the iceberg. Think Deadpool, Wolverine and Mister Fantastic as X-Men.
But we’ll also see variants of the main Doctor Strange 2The film features several characters. We’ll have different Doctor Strange variants in the movie in addition to the variant that hails from the primary MCU continuity. Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen), Mordo, (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) are all included in this movie.
So far, we’ve identified three Doctor Strange variants. There’s the primary Strange who will help America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) help the multiverse. Then, we have the evil Doctor Strange we saw in the first trailer. That’s the Strange that Marvel uses to deceive the audience and make us believe that he’s the villain.
Finally, there’s Defender Strange that appears clearly in the second trailer. This is the variant with long locks. This is the variant that may die in the film, but primary Strange will astral-project into his body in Act 4. That’s why we’re not counting zombie Strange as a separate variant for now.
The new Doctor Strange 2Toy
This brings us to Doctor Strange IV. Multiverse of Madness. That’s the Supreme Strange, whose Multiverse of MadnessFunko Pop is Available online. That’s the toy leak that gives us the name of another important Strange variant from the multiverse.
As DirectThis is the Strange variant without facial hair, as noted. The Supreme Strange costume is also very similar to the Strange sculpture in the movie (top picture).
Primary Doctor Strange looks at this statue, and we think that we understand why. This could be where Doctor Strange gave his life to defeat Thanos (Josh Brolin). The reality is that Mordo is Sorcerer supreme and a member the Illuminati. Put differently, Doctor Strange might be looking at the statue just before he’s imprisoned.
Supreme Strange is not to confused with Doctor Strange Supreme. That’s the evil Strange from What If…?He was able to redeem himself at the end of the episode, but not before destroying the reality he created. And yes, there’s a Funko Pop toy AvailableDoctor Strange Supreme is based on What If…?.
We will see Supreme Strange in action. Multiverse of Madness? It is our only hope. We’ll have to wait until May 6th, when Doctor Strange 2 premieres. Until then, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new toy seen above.
