The Masked Singer Season 8, Episode 3 Reveals Devastated’ Celebrities

SPOILER ALERT: If you have not seen Season 8, Episode 3, please do not continue reading. “The Masked Singer,” “TV Theme Night,”The episode aired October 5, 2009 on Fox.

“Brady Bunch”Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland and entrepreneur are the brothers of Barry Williams. “Shark Tank”Daymond John was the next celebrity to be revealed “The Masked Singer,” as the show’s Wednesday night episode celebrated “TV Theme Night.”

Williams, Knight, Lookinland and Fortune Teller were revealed as the Mummies. Among this week’s three performances, the “Brady Bunch”With the fewest votes, brothers were the first to go.

After Harp, the returning winner, defeated John in a battle royale in which they both sang the same song, John emerged as Fortune Teller. “Full House”The theme song. Harp was the winner for the third week in succession.

“TV Theme Night”Opening with Robin Thicke, judge, singing the theme song to “Growing Pains,”In tribute to his late father Alan Thicke, the sitcom star and actor Alan Thicke was featured in this video. His mother, Gloria Loring (singer and actor), was also present.

Mummies were right: Nicole Scherzinger, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland and Robin Thicke were correct. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg chose the “Home Improvement”Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Zachery Tyr Bryan, and Taran Smith are the brother trio. Ken Jeong thought it was Joey, Matthew and… Martin Lawrence.

Fortune Teller? Ken Jeong was right with DaymondJohn. Robin Thicke claimed it was Ray J. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg picked Damon Dash. Nicole Scherzinger chose Ryan Seacrest.

For the “Brady Bunch”Williams, brother to Williams, was first approached about doing “The Masked Singer”He convinced his co-stars that they should join him. Knight — you may recall, Peter Brady nearly messed things up for his siblings when his voice started cracking, inspiring “Time to Change,”aka “When It’s Time to Change, You’ve Got to Rearrange” — was less thrilled with the idea.

“It’s well known that I’m a fair-weather friend of music, it’s not my thing,”Variety heard from him. “But it seems to always be there as a Brady. So, this was an opportunity for the three of us. The way it was pitched to me is that Barry and Mike realized that this wasn’t going to happen, because I probably wasn’t going to say yes. And I thought, you know, that’s a terrible position to be in. So, regardless of how I felt, I needed to step up to make it happen. And it was it was a great experience. I’m glad I did it.”

Lookinland stated that he had to adapt to being disguised while on set. “I for one, am very into chatting and just talking to the wardrobe people, talking to the transpo guys,”He said. “There was none of that, zero. We were hooded and concealed.”

They also shared a common shorthand after 50 years of being together. “It’s very much a family dynamic,”Lookinland. “These are my best friends. We have our roles.”

The group also admitted being in shock that they didn’t get to do more beyond this episode and had other songs ready to go. “I wasn’t upset about being eliminated, I was more, like, devastated,”Williams stated. “I was numb… I thought for sure we’d at least be going head-to-head at the end. It was like somebody hit me in the stomach with a baseball bat!”

Daymond John was the Fortune Teller, Barry Williams/Christopher Knight/Mike Lookinland were the Mummies. Montell Jordan was the Panther, Jeff Dunham the Pi-Rat and Chris Kirkpatrick the Hummingbird. Eric Idle was the Hedgehog, William Shaner as Knight. “The Masked Singer”Season 8.

Multiple eliminations are common in this episode. “The Masked Singer”A new approach to sourcing is adopted “King or Queen of Masked Singer” format. Each week will see three to four costumesed celebrities perform, but only one of them will win and be able to compete against the other two or three people next week.

This will continue throughout the season. In week one, the Harp was the first to move forward. The Harp also survived Week 2 and 3. The Harp has now reached the semi-finals after surviving Round 1. After each round, three finalists will be competing in the semis.

“The Masked Singer”Enters Season 8 with new costumes “Bride,” “Avocado,” “Venus Fly Trap,” “Sir Bugaboo,” “Scarecrow,” “Hedgehog,” “Mummies.”These episodes are themed “Vegas Night,” “Comedy Roast,” “Hall of Fame,” “Muppets Night,” “Andrew Lloyd Webber Night,” “TV Themes,” “’90s Night,” “Thanksgiving”And “Fright Night.”This season’s guests include Donny Osmond and Andrew Lloyd Webber, The Muppets. Joel McHale and Tori Spelling are also on the bill.

The Season 8 contestants “boast a combined 32 Grammy nominations, 16 Emmy wins, 8 gold albums, 4 Golden Globe nominations, 42 books, 10 Teen Choice awards, and 5 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
