The Internet Wants Martha Stewart to Date Pete Davidson. Her Reactions Are Gold

Internet has been an open forum for everyone to voice their desires, regardless of how crazy, absurd, or outrageous. And every once in a while, one of those wishes is fulfilled. (I’m looking at you. Snyder Cut fans.) What is the chance that the dream-shipper pairing of Martha Stewart, a domestic entrepreneur, and Pete Davidson, a BDE-exuding comedian, will ever become a reality? These illicit truths can only be discovered by the future, but Stewart made it clear that she would not hesitate to act as a clown if given the chance.

Martha Stewart was on Drew Barrymore ShowA flag-waving competition centered on dating. Barrymore was a delight throughout the segment. But, their conversation about Pete Davidson is what stands out. After she had responded positively to the suggestion of Davidson dating her, the 81 year-old was asked about partnering with the actor. SNLVet himself was the one to thank, and it sparked a wave for the green flag (for “Yes”) and this answer:

I don’t mean that he has dated so many women. This is not a bad thing. This is a positive thing. He’s kinda cute. Everyone loves him. I know him. You didn’t realize I knew him. He is someone I know. He was at the Bieber roast along with me. He’s still there. He was the little twerp in the Bieber roast. [Laughs.]He was even thinner than Bieber. [Short pause.]This is also very cute.

Only recently Video went viral in which she was wearing nothing but an apron, Stewart speaks with such a calm and casual matter-of-factness, whether she’s talking about hanging out with Snoop Dogg, the best oven temperatures for pies, or how twerpy Pete Davidson is compared to Justin Bieber. So it’s honestly just as fun to watch Drew Barrymore’s reactions to everything her guest is saying, as she’s 100% serving as the audience surrogate with her glued-on smirk and light sense of awe about it all. Really, who among us can say we’ve inspired Martha Stewart to consider being the Meet Cute star’s first big relationship after his break-up with Kim Kardashian?

But while the above comments were pretty PG-rated, even while bringing up one of Comedy Central’s R-rated Roasts, Stewart did let a gloriously salacious-esque thought pass her lips after Barrymore commented on the comedian’s reputation cementing him as a good dude, saying:

He is a good man. He is a great guy. He knows how get in and out.

As a result, I believe we all had the same reaction.

Stewart said, “After that Stewart spoke up.” comment she’d made in the past about Davidson being like a son she’d never had, which clearly sent Barrymore’s mind reeling while searching for a follow-up comment. Perhaps thankfully, the conversation didn’t go all House of the DragonStewart suggested they move on to the next topic. This just adds layers of fan-fiction to it all.

Barrymore has only just been released. Clarify any previous comments she’d made about her own sex life, after viewers misinterpreted her sexual hiatus to mean she hated the act outright. You can watch the entire talk show clip here.
