THE CAST OF Dancing with the Stars was in tears tonight when a contestant had to withdraw from the show due to medical reasons.
The star did however give viewers one final emotional dance.
On Monday’s episode DWTS 50-year-old Selma Bliar revealed that her doctor was concerned and she had to quit the competition.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that the actress has battled through all of the competition.
Sasha Farber was her professional partner.
“I had these MRIs, and the results came back, and it all adds up to – I can’t go on with the competition,”She cried and said it to him.
“With a chronic illness, you do have special consideration, and my body is definitely taking a hit,”She explained.
“It’s just way too much for the safety of my bones. There’s just intensive bone trauma and inflammation among rips and tears, so I could do extensive damage that, of course, I do not want.”
Selma, however, wanted to perform one more dance for the viewers.
The Legally Blonde star was overcome with emotion as she walked into the ballroom. Her co-stars Shangela, Jordin Sparks and Jessie James Decker were also in tears.
