The couple were married in Las Vegas, January 25, 1981. Following that was a second ceremony in Chicago for their respective families. They have two sons, Homer & Luke. Kelly, who was married to Murray at the time, reportedly worked as a real estate agent and opened a home goods shop. The couple has two sons, Homer & Luke. Murray and Kelly were divorced in 1996 following an affair he allegedly had with Jennifer Butler.
Not much information is available regarding Kelly’s current whereabouts, but Their sons both succeed. Homer is a well-known restaurant owner in Brooklyn, New York, while Luke works as an assistant coach for the University of Louisville’s men’s basketball team.
He got married again in 1997
Jennifer Butler was a costume designerHis achievements include working as a wardrobe designer on many films, including Mutiny on the Bounty – The Last of the Mohicans Groundhog Day. Murray met her while she was making his way through life. Scrooged, A movie for which Butler was also responsible for costume design.
Murray and Butler were married in 1997. They had four children: Caleb Jackson, Jackson, Cooper and Lincoln. Butler filed for divorce in May 2008. Murray was the victim of a series if serious allegations.
According to an archived web file from the South Carolina-based newspaper The Post and Courier Murray is accused by ButlerAdultery, drug addiction, physical abuse and abandonment.
The Daily Mail Here’s some more context to Butler’s serious claims. She alleged that Murray had hit her in the face in November 2007. He claimed Butler was his friend. “lucky he didn’t kill her.”Murray, she claimed, was unfaithful and addicted to alcohol, sex and marijuana.
Butler asked for a restraining order and claimed that she and the pair’s four sons were compelled to get out of their residence in South Carolina due to Murray’s alleged out-of-control behavior. It isn’t clear if that restraining order was ever granted, and Butler’s claims have never been verified or disproven.
The divorce was finalized in the following month. John McDougall is the attorney who represented Murray., “I can say that Bill Murray is deeply saddened by the break-up of his marriage to Jennifer. They remain loving parents, committed to the best interest of their children.”
Unfortunately, Butler died in January 2021. The cause of death has not been released.
Murray has Other Priorities Besides Marriage
