The future of The Blacklist looks very different after Two series regulars were evicted in the Season 9 finale, but now it turns out that Season 10 will go on a blast to the past… sort of. Parminder Nagra, who plays Meera Malik on the new season, will give a throwback twist of Season 1 and the tragic death. This long-running drama was able to find a creative solution.

Siya is a MI6 intelligence officer and will reportedly go to the task force that remains after the deaths of Aram, Park. She’s on a mission to find answers about her mom’s death… the work that led to it.
The character hasn’t been cast yet, but it’s probably safe to say that Season 10 will include scenes from Season 1 featuring Parminder Nagra (also known for Bend It Like Beckham and ER) to refresh fans who may not remember all the details about Meera’s life and death. We would love to see Nagra back in Season 10, but for now, we are only speculating.
Fans will have to wait longer for the return The Blacklist than many of NBC’s other hit shows, which will be back before the end of the year in The TV schedule for 2022.
