The novel is written by Jamie Ford and follows Dorothy Moy, a former poet laureate who deals with her emotional issues through her art. Moy finds herself suddenly confronting her past, according to a press release. “when her five-year-old daughter exhibits similar behavior and begins remembering things from the lives of their ancestors.”

It was also voted the No. 1 Indie Next List pick for August 2022.
