Taylor Hawkins’ Son Honors His Late Rocker Dad “My Hero”Performance

Shane has played with his dad and his bandmates—including Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl—throughout his life. In 2018, he joined Chevy Metal onstage to perform a cover of The Rolling StonesSingle 1978 “Miss You” at a benefit concert for the Los Angeles Food Bank.

This is his latest performance one month after Taylor’s tribute concert was announced by the Foo Fighters in London on September 3rd and Los Angeles on September 27th.

Taylor was killed during the Foo Fighters’ South American tour on March 25. Although no cause of death has been established, drugs were discovered in Taylor’s system. His heart was twice the normal weight. His wife survived him.Alisonas well as their three kids: Shane,Annabelle13, andEverleigh, 8.
