The church of St. George, built in 14th-century Czech, is situated atop a hill in Lukova, Czech village.

Lukova, a small village located 2 1/2 hours from Prague, is known as “Lukova”. It is home to 708 people..

Atlas Obscura says that St. George’s Church was consecrated in 1352.

Although the church stood for hundreds upon centuries, it was demolished in 1968 when its roof fell during a funeral.

This was a contributing factor to Locals believe the building is hauntedor even cursed. The congregation began to hold mass outside.

The church was left to rot until the community decided that it would be saved. The money was not available.
