Microsoft fans are eagerly anticipating the new Surface Pro 8 tablet ahead of a launch event next week.
It’s possible that they won’t have to wait as long as expected. A Surface Pro 8 specification and image have been leaked online.
Twitter accountShadow_Leakhas tweeted what’s supposedly a retail listing of the tablet.

The tweet claims to show a photo of the Surface Pro 8.
Two Thunderbolt ports and a slim screen border are also mentioned.
The leaker also states they’ll be “Replaceable SSD Hard Drives”.
The Surface 8 Pro will not be revealed to the public until Microsoft confirms it.
A host of new gadgets are expected at the tech giant’s Surface hardware event scheduled for September 22.
What is the Surface Pro 8?
Surface Pro 8 is the next device in Microsoft’s Surface Pro series.
These gizmos can be used as tablets by connecting a keyboard and then turning on Windows.
The series was launched by Microsoft in 2013. It has been updated seven times, and eight times if you count the Surface Pro 7+.
The line up is typically updated annually in October – all signs point to Microsoft following the same pattern this year.
Price is not yet known. The Surface Pro 7 will likely be the same price.
That starts at $749/£799 for a Core i3, 4GB RAM, and a 128GB SSD, rising to $2,299.99/£2,249 for a Core i7, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
