Subject Of First Animated Movie Revealed – Comic-Con

Avatar: Braving The Elements, the rewatch podcast hosted by the franchise’s voice actors Janet Varney (Korra inThe Legend of Korra) and Dante Basco (Prince Zuko inAvatar for The Last Airbender). Varney was unable to be present in person so he made the announcement via video which was shown in the room.

Zach Tyler Eisen voiced Aang in the original Avatar – The Last AirbenderThe animated series aired three seasons on Nickelodeon between 2005-2008. The movie shows Aang and his friends growing up.

Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino, who created the franchise-launching seriesAvatar of The Last Airbender for Nickelodeon, produce alongside that show’s EP, Eric Coleman.

Avatar of The Last Airbender followed Aang ( Eisen), a young boy reawakening in a war-torn world of elemental magic to undertake a dangerous mystic quest—thereby fulfilling his destiny as the Avatar, and bringing peace to the world. Nickelodeon continued the immensely popular series with a sequelThe Legend of KorraBetween 2012 and 2014, aired the series for four seasons.

Since then, there have been a live action feature for 2010 and a live action feature for 2011. Avatar of The Last Airbender in the works at Netflix without Konietzko and DiMartino’s involvement.
